Japanese Gin


Craft gins in Japan started blooming in 2017.
Shochu distilleries and Sake breweries invested their traditional and new techniques to use Japanese botanicals such as Sansho, (Japanese Pepper), Ginger, Seaweed, tea, and so on.
Japanese gins are still growing, but already marked the high evaluation in the world.

Japanese Rum


Japan stretches from the north (nearby Russia) to the south (nearby Taiwan and Southeast Asia). There are also distilleries of rum in southern islands in Okinawa, Amami Islands, and Ogasawara, the island belonging to Tokyo Metropolis.
Japanese sugarcanes are often known as sweet, so Japanese rum tends to be sweet, but refreshing and invigorating after tasting it.

Japanese Plum Liqueur(Umeshu)

Japanese Plum Liqueur is made by steeping ume plums (while still unripe and green) in liquor and sugar. It has a sweet, sour taste, and an alcohol content of 10–15%.

It's not known well by the people from overseas, but Shochu is one of the common and traditional spirits in Japan.
